Boxers are an excellent mixture of playful personality, high
intelligence and athleticism with a warm affectionate nature. Boxers
are in fact, a complete package dog because there's so much to admire
about them. One moment, he will be playing with your kids and the next
moment, he will be coming to curl up with you. The same moment, he
will be also running to investigate a knock at the door. They are so
energetic and agile that they need enough active exercises to lose
their excessive energy.Boxer dogs are great choice for any families
with children when they are given proper training and socialization.
They love to be in the company of the humans and they are very loyal
to them. If you train your boxer dog, then you can get surprising and
outstanding results from him. You can start training him once he is
5-6 weeks old. Start with basic commands like "Sit", "Stay", "come",
etc. Unless you don't teach him the right and wrong things, he can't
judge about the things that can either please you or embarrass you.The
key point to remember in Boxer dog training is avoiding harsh and
punitive measures in the process of training. Punishing never yields
you any benefit. Instead it will just grow abnormal behaviors in him
and he may resent you for it. He won't obey your commands when you
beat him. So, praise him and keep patience while training.Besides
training, you need to take care of his diet as well. Feed him 3 meals
a day until six months and decrease it to 2 times after onwards. As he
cannot resist in extreme temperatures, you need to give him special
care during the time of winter season and on extreme hot days. With
proper Boxer dog training and socialization, you can turn him into
trustworthy and reliable member of the society.
