Drive Them Crazy When Leaving

Have you ever wondered how a movie that ends on a cliff hanger makes
you really wish there's a sequel? One word...Suspense! Suspense is
mysterious and dramatic; it reels us in and leaves us curious and
sometimes confused.I'd love to have this effect on people; oh wait, I
already do! So what's the big secret? How do we leave them wanting
more? It's simpler than you think! The Common GroundAs humans we are
coded to be curious about the unknown. We crave things that make us
happy and get greedy for the things we desire. As a race we are very
stereotypical; leaving us very predictable. So if we know the ways in
which we are predictable then we know how to use it to our advantage,
right? Wrong! Not everyone is exactly the same. It's a
generalisation. There is however two techniques we can use to reel the
majority in:The Cliff-hanger:Leave them wanting more. When a
conversation is going well make your excuses and leave. Leaving a
scene on a high is the last recollection the person will have. They'll
subconsciously link you with that memory and viola! The Smile:When you
leave, smile. A suggestive smile is all it takes. Take time to
practice this; it works wonders. The more you practice the easier it
becomes and the less effort it seems.Take time to practice.
Incorporate the two and you'll be the number one thought in no
time.Good Luck!* Bloggers and Webmasters - Like this article? Publish
