Easy Skateboard Tricks For Beginners

Here we are going to go over a brief list of possibly the top easy
skateboard tricks for beginners, the tricks most recommended a new
skater to learn first. While even the easiest skateboard tricks can be
a little, well, (forgive me) tricky, but these are the most basic ones
and not as hard as others that would come to follow later.Ollie
The
ollie is usually the first real trick a beginning skater learns, and
it is also the beginning move to 90% of today's modern street
skateboarding tricks. It is basically when a skater taps the tail of
the board to the ground and jumps allowing both himself and the board
to get air, and then landing it.Manual
The manual is possibly the
simplest trick in all of skateboarding. It is basically when you are
riding along, just lean back on the tail of the board, balancing and
riding on only the back two wheels of the skateboard, and riding as
far as you can without touching the front wheels or the tail to the
ground. Some like to land a trick in the manual position, and ride it
out that way for a while, for more style.Kickflip
I know, I know. The
kickflip doesn't seem like it should even be on this list, with how
horrendous and difficult it can be to learn. Alas, it still probably
makes the list as among the easiest, unfortunately. It is when you
ollie up into the air, flick the top back corner of your board with
your front foot toe, spinning the board backward in a drilling motion,
and land it after it makes one complete rotation.Heelflip
The heelflip
is virtually identical to the kickflip, except it flips the opposite
way. You kick it forward with your front heel instead of backward with
your front toe. It is also slightly harder than a kickflip, and most
recommend learning the kickflip first.Boardslide
Sliding your board on
an obstacle between the trucks.Boneless
The boneless is an old school
trick, more popular in the 80's than it is now, and one of the easier
tricks, too. Place one foot down and grab your board, jumping up,
before landing it with both feet.Pop Shuvit
Ollie and push the board
behind you with your back foot, spinning it like a helicopter blade.
Once it makes a 180 rotation (the nose is now where the tail used to
be, and vice versa), you land it. 360 and 540 pop shuvits are doable
too, but more difficult.Nollie
A nollie is basically an ollie where
you kick down with your front foot on the nose instead of the back one
on the tail (remember, this is NOT the same as ollieing rolling
backwards, because it is only a nollie if you kick down on the nose
with your front foot).
