There is a growing trend in the cosmetic plastic surgery industry
where individuals prefer to go through multiple cosmetic procedures at
once. What this means is suppose someone wants to opt for a face lift.
Considering there are several other parts of the face which together
give you the best possible look, individuals opt to undergo an eyelift
surgery, a nose job, lip augmentation and other procedures along with
undergoing a face lift. While there are many reasons why so many
people nowadays prefer going through multiple surgeries at the same
time, there are a few serious drawbacks as well. Let us look at some
of the main pros as well as cons of multiple plastic surgeries:Pros:1)
As far as the advantages are concerned, one of the key aspects of
multiple cosmetic surgeries is the cost. Usually going through
surgical procedures one by one would mean shelling out a lot of money.
A plastics surgeon will charge you per session and per surgery. This
could end up costing over $20,000 for various surgeries related to
body parts such as face, abdomen etc. However, if you decide to go
through related surgeries all at once, your plastic surgeon is likely
to charge a much lower collective fee as compared to the individual
costs of each procedure. If you are determined to go through various
surgeries then you might as well get it done all at once to save on
costs.2) Going through various cosmetic surgeries at once would mean
your body parts would look similar and be symmetrical. Otherwise you
might end up with a situation where certain parts of your face look
young while other parts look older. Same when it comes to losing
weight. If you combine liposuction with tummy tuck, you will get a
flat stomach without any of the loose or excess skin which you
otherwise appear if you went through only liposuction. Getting a
symmetrical body is one of the key advantages of going through
multiple plastic surgeries.3) Each cosmetic surgery that you go
through would require time off from your regular schedule. It also
requires you to give a minimum rest period for your body to heal
completely from all the incisions and blood loss. For many, this means
a considerable period of absence from work or the office. By combining
plastic surgeries, you can take time off from work only once and there
would not be any need to ask for leaves again and again.Cons1) We have
looked at the pros of going through multiple cosmetic procedures all
at once and there are quite a few of them. However, when it comes to
the cons, there is only one major drawback but it is a huge area of
concern. Each and every surgery whether for aesthetic reasons or for
reconstructive purposes puts immense pressure on your body's immune
system. In fact, many patients are advised complete best rest for a
certain period of time, depending upon the complexity of the cosmetic
procedure they have gone through. Now imagine what your body's immune
system will go through if you undergo multiple surgeries all at once.
Even if you are an extremely healthy person, your body can take
multiple incisions, surgeries and blood loss only to a certain extent.
Putting your body through unnecessary pressure would end up creating a
huge health risk which could turn severe as well. Hence when it comes
to the cons of combining multiple plastic surgeries, your health
condition remains the only drawback but I think we all agree that
health is one of the most important considerations before we undertake
anything.

Personally, I've done at once a liposuction Toronto procedure and also a breast augmentation.
I've said that if I'm already under the anesthesia, why not to get rid of some unaesthetic fat! I'm very satisfied of my results and I didn't have any kind of problems... not with the recovery time and not with something else!
