It is always advantageous in life when you are tall. It is unfair,
but there are times when a taller person gets more respect than a
shorter person. Genetics play a role in a person's adult height.
However, while a person is still in the growing stage, it would be
wise to implement stretching exercises and proper nutrition to ensure
that person grows to his/her full height potential.Merely eating and
exercising are no guarantees that a person grows to be tall. But, if
that person eats right and exercises right, then there is a
possibility that he/she may grow into a tall adult. In terms of
exercises, there are such exercises that one can do to enhance the
growth process and stimulate the growth hormone. These exercises and
sports include swimming, basketball, cycling, and
stretching.Stretching exercises are important exercises if you want to
grow taller. You may focus on stretching exercises like wall
stretching, the super cobra, and the cat stretch.A simple exercise is
the hanging stretch. To do this, just hang from a bar. This process
helps to straighten and lengthen the spine. Use a wider grip if you
want wider shoulders and a wider back. Do this exercise for at least
30 minutes a week.In the super stretch, you stand reaching your arms
up as high as you can. Then lean back a little to stretch your lower
back. Do this repetition for four to seven seconds. The toe touch is
an easy exercise. Stand with your hands above your head. Then bend
over and reach your toes and keep your legs as straight as possible.
If you need to, bend your legs a little. If you can easily reach your
toes, stand on a podium and try to reach the ground. A repetition is
about two to three seconds. In the cat stretch, sit down on your hands
and knees in a similar way to how a cat does it. Arch the back and
pull the neck down to your chest. Then bend your back straight out,
point your head up so your nose points up to the ceiling. Devote five
seconds for each position. Breathe in when you are in the up position
and breathe out when you are in the down position. The cat stretch
stimulates back growth and opens up your vertebrae. When doing the
cobra stretch, lie on the floor face down; palms on the floor under
the shoulders. Start arching your spine leading up to the chin and
arch back as far as you can. Do each repetition for about five to
thirty seconds.
