The story of Jim Carry writing himself a check for ten million
dollars, before he was even famous, is one of my favorites. He walked
up to Hollywood Hills and had so much belief in himself and his
future, that he was able to write his goal down on paper. On the memo
line he wrote "For Services Rendered." For years he carried that check
in his wallet. From time-to-time he would glance at the check to keep
his goals fresh and clear. Well, now we all know that he is one of the
most successful entertainers today. While pulling in more than twenty
million dollars on his more recent movies, I do believe he
accomplished his goals. So the question I want to know is - What role
did that check played?Fewer than three percent of people have clear,
writing goals! Not surprisingly, these people are usually the most
successful in their field. But sadly less than one percent of people
write, rewrite and review their goals on a regular basis. How can we
overcome this? It's almost magic what you can do by simply writing down
your goals, thinking big, and truly believing in yourself. There would
be no stopping you! Whether it is your life long goal, or just your
list for the day. I can't explain it, but is changes everything. That
dream or fantasy will start developing the second you touch that pin
to the paper. Simple by writing it down, we declare it in motion.
