People these days look for their comfort level in using computers.
And most comfortable thing that has come in the form of personal
computer is a laptop. These days there are many companies making some
great and affordable laptops, Acer is one of them. Acer is known for
his performance and unbeatable prices.Recently Acer introduced its new
laptop Acer Aspire AS5251. This laptop is very low price as compared
to others of its league. But it is said that companies make
compromises over performance or other things in order to lower their
price. So we will find out in this discussion that whether Acer has
made compromises or it's giving best quality in low price. When you
first get this laptop you feel that its shape is reasonably well
crafted. It's much similar to ASUS UL80VT-A1. Which if you have used
is the best laptop available in the market in its price. So at first
impression you will like to know that whether its performance is also
like ASUS? Well lets analyze its performance.First thing that can
judge performance is processor. Acer is giving a 2.20 GHZ AMD
processor which is series V120 and is single core. People usually like
to see Intel processors but these days people have understood that
every company deals with some specific range of products and every one
cannot give you an Intel's processor. This AMD processor that Acer has
used deals really well with video streaming. Normally these days
laptops come with dual core but this processor can really meet the end
needs of a single user. Its LCD is 15.6 inch in size which is
reasonably wide. You can enjoy a movie over this kind of LCD
perfectly. Then coming to the hard drive well ACER is giving a 250 GB
hard drive which is enormous amount of space if you look at the money
that you are paying. And also remember that hard drive has nothing to
with the machine's speed. Some people think that hard drive has
effects on processing speed. The main thing on which your processing
speed depends upon is your RAM. Acer in this stylish machine provides
you with 3GB of DDR3 ram. Normally the laptops of this era are coming
with 4GB of RAM, so is this a compromise? Answer will be no as I
mentioned earlier that it uses a single core processor and 3 GB is
more than enough to accommodate a single your requirements. In fact I
know people who are still working on 1 or 2 gb of ram and they pretty
happy with that as it satisfies all their needs. Finally a bonus
feature in this laptop is it comes with a HDMI port in it. HDMI is a
port used to interface it with LCD TV.
