It is hard to say who started it, and maybe it is impossible to ever
find out, but somewhere along the way the 2010 midterm elections went
terribly wrong. It's hard to say if it was race-baiting or just
mean-spirited political attacks, but the left side started calling
those in the Tea Party "racists" and that really upset people who
signed on, even just in spirit to the tea party's pledge. The Tea
Party wants responsible spending in government, and they denounce
socialism. Yes, there are a few other issues that they care deeply
about also, namely; freedom and liberty. What I don't understand was,
when did it become "racist" to love your country, love your freedom,
and be seriously concerned with the future direction of the United
States of America? Look here is the deal; Socialism does not work,
historically that is a fact. Socialism therefore is not progressive,
it's regressive, especially in the United States considering our
strong middle class, and standard of living. No one who believes in
free-markets, capitalism, or America is a bigot, they just love their
country, and politically oppose those who are moving us into a
socialist-state.If someone who is a Democrat, or socialist-liberal a
sexual deviant automatically - no, of course not, and that's not to
say that there maybe a few people in any large group who are, but you
cannot label an entire group racists, bigots, or sexual deviants. Do
you see that point? If the left really wants to be all inclusive, then
they really need to drop the name calling and open their minds to some
realities of past civilizations, socialist challenges, and where we
are headed if we don't turn this ship around.Remember as we hit the
2010 midterm elections, they are rioting in France - so, we should be
modeling our massive economy or this great nation based on what
they've done in their society. It is pure poppycock and huckleberry to
call the tea party members racists or bigots. In fact, it would be
laughable if it were not so hurtful. Luckily, such negative name
calling has united the group to get out and vote - they are not buying
the race-baiting this time. So, let's see what happens next in the
election.
