How To Identify The Powerful Hand Of God In Your Life

Talking about the hand of God, so many people may be tempted to
think that I am trying to talk about the abracadabra that people do
nowadays to get their dream jobs done. The name of God has lately been
used and abused in so many ways. Today, in order to insult human
sensitivity and wisdom, people claim divine intervention to get a pass
to prominence. At a particular time in the history of world football
competition (generally known as World Cup), a footballer purposely
went against the rules of football to make a name for himself. Indeed,
history was made as he scored goals by the use of his hands. This
called for celebration in the midst of so many people, and they were
quick to call it "the hand of God" simply because the referee allowed
the goals, which in the spirit of fair-play should not have
been.However, the international football body - Federation of
International Football Association (FIFA) did not give the expected
ban to either the player or the referee. Everybody joined in the
celebration. History was made and the game was declared won by
offending side, despite the countless replays on the large television
screens and the scoreboard that actually showed a foul play. Thus, in
the world today, the hand of God is used when something unusual is
accepted as usual no matter how deliberate or ill-intentioned.In the
Bible, so many people who rightly performed their duties in unusual
ways were said to have the Lord's backing. One of them was Ezra the
priest. He experienced the good hand of God upon himself when he led a
delegation to Jerusalem to provide spiritual leadership for the former
captives who were rebuilding the temple and the city (Ezra 7:9-10).
Ezra found strength and courage in knowing that the Lord was with them
each step of the way. Ezra was encouraged as the hand of the Lord his
God was upon him; and he gathered leading men of Israel to go up with
him.I too, am an example of a man who experiences the hand of God upon
his life. I registered as an article writer sometime in 2009. I really
did not envision the challenge and stressful nature of writing and
submitting quality articles, at least once a day, but I got registered
all the same. This single step took me to the point of winning prizes
for something I should have passed up as a result of heavy workload.
My award gifts came and I was motivated further to go up higher in
subsequent editions of the competition.This to me is truly the hand of
God. When we see the Lord's hand in our lives, it brings forth a deep
"Thank You" and a growing desire to do what He wants us to do. It does
not motivate us to celebrate self or evil tendencies, but makes us
humble people before Him. It is this powerful hand of God that has
lifted me up higher not only as an award-winning author but as an
expert author on the PLATINUM level membership. You may not know what
that means, but I encourage you to follow the ways of God and you will
indeed experience that same "powerful hand of God" in your life.
