Kettlebell + Body Weight 300 Workout (Version 2.0)

The original 300 workout designed by Mark Twight - the trainer for
the cast of the movie 300 - is a huge 'cult hit' around the internet.
And the first 'spin' on that workout I posted on my blog was also a
huge hit - it was one of the most viewed posts I've ever done!So,
here's a new and improved version of the kettlebell and body weight
300 workout:10 18 inch Box Jumps
20 Push Ups
30 Lunges (30 steps
total, 15 each leg)
40 Mountain Climbers
50 Kettlebell SwingsTo
complete this workout, you'll do this circuit three times for time. A
couple of notes and acceptable modifications:1. The box used for the
box jumps can be lowered to 12 inches according to your fitness level
- or the box jumps can be completely substituted for a squat jump.2.
The Push Ups can be done from the knees if 20 standard Push Ups are
too difficult.3. Step ups can be subbed for Lunges if you have bad
knees, etc.4. Pick a kettlebell weight for the Swings that's
challenging for you but allows you to complete all three sets of 50
reps with great form.You now have a new and improved version of the
kettlebell and bodyweight 300 workout. This workout is a great
resistance training and cardio challenge - and for almost everyone,
can be completed in less than 20 minutes. You can't beat that for
'bang for your buck'! Train hard and good luck!!
