There are many ways in which you can increase your speed. Speed is
important to any fighter. When you punch faster, you will hit harder.

times mass. If you can improve your speed your momentum is going to be
greater. When your momentum is greater you will hit harder. Here are a
few tips for increasing speed.Keep good technique. When your technique
is good, you will not be wasting energy and more importantly time by
doing a move wrong. When you do a move wrong, it might cost you a
fraction of a second but that fraction of a second might mean the
difference of hitting your opponent in the face or not hitting him at
all.Jumping rope is a great way to increase speed. All you will need
for it is a jump rope and a little bit of space to do it. You can
basically jump rope anywhere that you are at. It is great to take on
the road while you are traveling.Losing weight and or bulk is another
way for you to increase your speed. If you are carrying around a lot
of extra weight then you are going to be slowing yourself down. By
losing the weight you are going to be freeing yourself to move
faster.Training in the water is a great way for you to become faster.
The extra resistance you get from training in the water is going to
make you faster when you get out of the water.Using the speed bag at
your local gym is also a great way to work on your speed. It is also
going to help you with your hand eye coordination. When you have
better hand eye coordination you are going to become faster. Ask your
coach how to use it if you don't know how.Join a yoga class. Since
yoga deals a lot with improving your core muscles and flexibility, you
are going to improve your speed after going to yoga classes. A few of
the parts that make up speed are both flexibility and having good core
muscles. Most of your speed will come with having good core muscles so
make sure that you work on them.
