What Steps Can I Take To Save My Marriage That Actually Work?

Although many marriages are made up of different problems, there are
many steps that can be taken to save it. Even though you may think
that somehow your problem is unique, there are some core steps that
should be taken immediately. Many of which will determine whether or
not you save your marriage.One of the first things you should begin
doing is recognize the fact that your spouse needs space. I realize
you haven't said all that you want to say, but doing so now will only
make things worse for you. There's a time and place for everything,
and right now isn't that time. You will have your say, but don't do it
at the expense of your marriage.You want to save your marriage right?
So learn to back off a bit, give your spouse the time they need to
come to terms with their decision. This bit of time does wonders, and
could even give them the time they need to reconsider their drastic
decision to end the marriage. If you're constantly in their ear about
it or bringing it up, you're not allowing them the time they need to
clearly see if that's the life they want.The next thing you should
really consider doing is leaving your ego, pride and potential cheap
shots behind you. I know your upset, your ego and pride having taking
a hit. You feel angry right now, and have a whole lot of cheap shots
under your belt that you can potentially use. We all have them, you
know your spouse like a book, what gets under their skin and how to
push their buttons to cause the most damage to them and their ego.
But, don't do it. This will damage your chances to save your marriage
more than you can ever imagine. If you want to end your marriage fast,
then don't follow this step. Say whatever it is you want, but remember
I warned you. The marriage will never be the same, nor can you ever
take any of it back.One last thing and I'll say this until the cows
come home, get some real help. Don't think or assume that just because
you know your spouse like the back of your hand, that you know what it
takes to save a marriage. Your unguided efforts up to this point
haven't gotten you any closer to saving your marriage. I can say this
with confidence, I thought I knew what it would take, but I was
completely clueless. You can't imagine what it takes, but if you love
your spouse and want to save your marriage, then follow a real
marriage saving plan. Don't leave this up to chance.
