3 Tips to Building a Strong Relationship With Your List

We have all heard it again and again, the money is in the list.
Having a list is all well and good but what you really want is a list
full of people who are ready and waiting to buy from you. In order to
have a list like this you need to have a good relationship with the
people you send your emails too. Achieving a good relationship with
them is not always easy but there are a few things you can do to help
this out.Make your emails interesting and filled with useful content.
Imagine if the people on your list really look forward to getting
emails from you, if they looked through their inbox, found your letter
and really wanted to open it. A great way to achieve this is to get
personal with your subscribers, send them links to your blog with
photos and stories about you. Keep it interesting and don't just try
to sell them junk. Give them useful information and products, stuff
they will look forward to reading about.
Only send your list promotions that will benefit them. Before you
send out your promotion ask yourself "will this product benefit the
people on my list?" If the answer is no, then don't do it. You may
lose some profits in the short term but the point is to build your
list with long term goals in mind. By making sure you only offer
products that will truly benefit your subscribers they will grow to
trust you and trust in the products you have to offer.
Give your list a freebie once in a while. Everyone likes free stuff,
especially when it is of value to them. Giving out a free report or
ebook to your list once in a while will keep them interested in your
mails, and generally happy customers. Again don't just send them any
old garbage, make sure whatever you give them is relevant and useful.
Following these simple steps will help you build a good relationship
with your list which in turn will help you be more successful in your
online business.
