Are you aware of the attention people give to their email and
advertisements as opposed to other forms of advertising? Whether it's
business, sales, or personal email, people pay attention to their
email and unless you get an email subscriber who has totally lost
interest in your product or services, (which is unlikely if they
subscribed) they are going to pay attention to you.You build up a
quality (targeted) list and send them something they can use and
benefit from and you will make money.Email mail is the income pool for
millions of marketers who haven't even considered the opportunities as
of yet. Starting out, you need to get over the feeling that you are
sending out too much follow up email to your list. If you live in fear
that every sales attempt will end up with unsubscribers you'll never
write good copy. They gave you their email address and they are
suspecting you will use it... Use it but don't abuse it. You'll have
an email system down in no time and you'll then understand the common
saying "the money is in the list".There is not set in stone method to
how long your emails should be, I think you should test different
emails the same way you would test if you were placing classified ads
for response. The comm one perception is that most people have a
finger over the delete button as they're scanning their emails, I
think you should keep that thought in mind as you're writing copy to
try to get your subscriber to act.Email autoresponders from places
like Aweber and Getresponse can be set to send out an email message
every day if that is your desire. It is my belief that you should set
your email length to 2 or 3 short paragraphs (2 or 3 sentences each),
and I believe you should not email your list everyday but rather once
every 2 or 3 days at the most.Email practices obviously differ from
company to company and individuals but if you follow suggestions above
when emailing I believe you'll have some success.
